Man Accused Of Stealing $160 Worth Of Merchandise From Long Island Store

A man has been accused of petit larceny after police say he stole merchandise from a Long Island retailer, police say.

Police are on the lookout for a man suspected of stealing packages of meat from Best Yet in Shirley (800 Montauk Highway) on Tuesday, Aug. 27 around 4:10 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are on the lookout for a man, pictured above, who is suspected of stealing packages of meat from Best Yet in Shirley (800 Montauk Highway) on Tuesday, Aug. 27 around 4:10 p.m.

The meat was valued at more than $160, according to police.
