Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Teenage Boy At Party In Hamptons

A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy during a party in the Hamptons.

Benjamin Coleman, age 29, of Hampton Bays, was arrested by Southampton Police on Thursday, Aug. 18.

According to the Sgt. Eric Sickles, of the Southampton Police, on Saturday, Aug. 6, a 17-year-old who was attending a party in Hampton Bays at a house where Coleman resides, called police reporting a sexual assault.

Coleman allegedly lured the victim into a downstairs basement apartment and subjected him to sexual contact, without consent, Sickles said.

Coleman was arrested and charged with sexual abuse and forcible touching.
