Man Accused Of Recklessly Driving Mustang In Front Of Spectators On Long Island

A 27-year-old man is facing charges after police said drove a Ford Mustang recklessly in front of spectators in a Long Island parking lot.

Officers received a report of cars and spectators gathered in a North Lindenhurst parking lot located at 600 North Wellwood Ave. at about 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, the Suffolk County Police Department said.

Police reported finding several spectators and "numerous" vehicles engaging in reckless conduct, such as speeding, spinning tires, and doing "donuts" near the spectators. 

Jay Euskadi, of Bay Shore, was arrested and charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and reckless driving, SCPD said.

Euskadi was also issued traffic summonses, authorities said. 

His 2002 Ford Mustang was seized, and he is set to be arraigned at a later date, SCPD said.
