Long Island Physician Assistant Apprehended For Forcibly Touching Patient, Police Say

Kenneth Alessi, of Mattituck, was arrested at Sun River Health Care, his place of work, on Friday, Jan. 6, for an incident that happened in June, the Southampton Town Police Department reported.

The health care center is located at 300 Center Drive in Riverside, police said.

On June 15, Alessi examined a patient for rib pain and allegedly forcibly touched private parts of her body, authorities said.

He was charged with forcible touching, police said. 

The investigation into the case is ongoing.
