Suffolk County Police First Precinct officers responded to Andpress Plaza, an apartment complex in North Amityville, after a 911 caller reported a man shot at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.
When officers arrived, they found Jesiah Lowe, who had been shot once, outside in a common area of the apartment complex.
Lowe, 33, was transported via North Amityville Rescue ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
