The chief of a fire company on Long Island has died during the line of duty.
Chief Daryl Rollins of the North Amityville Fire Company reportedly died suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 20, while responding to a fire, said the Suffolk County Fire Chiefs.
Initial reports are that Chief Rollins died following the response to a call early in the morning.
