LIRR Service Suspended After Train Hits Tractor-Trailer

LIRR service has been suspended in both directions on the Ronkonkoma line after a train hit a tractor-trailer in Farmingdale early Wednesday evening, May 8.

The incidents occurred at the Merritts Road crossing and resulted in a large diesel spill.

No injuries were reported.
