LI Woman Airlifted After Losing Control Of Her Vehicle, Hitting Cement Barrier, Police Say

A 37-year old woman was injured after crashing her vehicle into a cement barrier on Long Island.

The incident took place around 10:10 p.m., Monday, August 2, when the woman, driving a 2019 Ford sedan eastbound on Frowein Road at Montauk Highway left the road and struck a fence and a cement barrier in East Moriches, said the Suffolk County Police.

The vehicle overturned and the woman was entrapped.

After being freed, the woman was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
