Grab-Run Theft: Trio Make Off With $24K In Versace Handbags At Manhasset Store

Police are searching for a man and two women who allegedly made off with more than $24,000 in handbags from a Versace store on Long Island.

The incident took place in Nassau County around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the Versace store in Manhasset, located at 2006 Northern Blvd.

According to detectives, a man, and two women entered the store and grabbed various bags, and exited the store without making a payment. 

The bags were valued in excess of $24,000 dollars, police said.

The suspects entered a 2019 Nissan Altima with a New Jersey registration and fled eastbound through the parking lot towards Searingtown Road.

The first suspect is described as being a Black male, 5-foot-5 with a medium build. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black sneakers, black pants, and a surgical mask.

The second suspect is described as a Black woman, 5-foot-5, with a medium build. She was wearing black pants, a black shirt, a jean jacket, a gray hat, and a surgical mask.

The third suspect is also described as being a Black woman, 5-foot-5 with a medium build. She was wearing a long black winter jacket, rain boots, and a surgical mask.
