A convict with multiple prior felony convictions is back in hot water with the law after attempting to illegally purchase shotgun on Long Island, the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office announced.
Suffolk County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Mastic resident Alfred Dimech, 57, following a lengthy investigation into the attempted purchase of the shotgun at Benson’s Gun Shop in Corman on Saturday, June 29.
