9/11 First Responder William Leahy Of Levittown, Port Authority Police Officer, Dies At 49

William James "Billy" Leahy died on Thursday, June 6. He was 49.

He was a police officer with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department for over 27 years.

Leahy was the son of William and Kathleen. He was the brother of Theresa Svab (Michael); uncle of Sean and Connor and a nephew and cousin.

A funeral mass was held Monday, June 10 in Miller Place
