The 3rd annual Le  Dîner Blanc on Sunday, Sept. 15 is a stylish affair and fundraiser where guests are asked to wear all-white, not ivory, no off-shite or beige.

Organizers expect 2,500 "foodies, and fashion and cultural enthusiasts" to attend.

Prior attendees called "members" have received Invitations and may sponsor a friend, while the general public can sign up for a "waitlist" beginning Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 9 a.m.

The chances are "99 percent" good a waitlisted person will get to go, said Donyshia Boston-Hill, host for Le Dîner Blanc which her company Keeper of the Brand' is organizing.

Within 24 hours of registering you will be notified by email whether you have been invited.

"We're not as big yet as other cities like New York that have been doing it longer but once we get to the five-year mark we will be a sellout," she said.

Last year the dinner held at NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, drew 2,000 people.

The dinner was held its inaugural year in 2018 at the de Seversky Mansion in Old Westbury,

Guests will receive transportation instructions the day before the event.

The dinner is to benefit the Nassau Community College Foundation Scholarship Fund. Also, guests will be asked to bring food donations for Island Harvest food bank and the food pantry at Nassau Community College.

The cost to attend is $43 per person. Guests when registering may select an a la carte meal or bring their own food.

"We provide the entertainment and the magic," said Boston-Hill.

Guests will bring their own table, chairs and table setting.

The evening will include music, entertainment, and dancing.

The white dinner is a French-inspired dinner party where guests bring their own gourmet food, tables, chairs, and table settings and dine in an elegant way at a public place
