'Sexually Violent Offender' Convicted Of Abusing Teen Girl Reports Move In Suffolk County

A registered "sexually violent" offender convicted of having "deviate sexual intercourse" with a teenage girl has reported a move in Suffolk County.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to residents in Suffolk regarding the residency of 53-year-old Thomas White, who has moved from Pleasantville Court to Great Neck Road in Copiague.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned White as a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.” He has also been designated as a sexually violent sex offender.

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, White had deviate sexual intercourse with his 16-year-old victim - who was a stranger to him - in Florida in April 1986 and he was convicted of a felony sexual offense in January the following year. White struck his victim during the assault and he was sentenced to 13 years in state prison.
