Nadim Yaquibie, 31, of Huntington Station, who is in custody being held at the Suffolk County Jail after being charged with second-degree murder, is facing new charges for allegedly harassing a corrections officer.

The latest incident involving an inmate and a corrections officer at the jail comes after Dimitri Robert, 27, of Coram - a murder suspect who allegedly killed his teenage brother - acting similarly and throwing human waste at an officer on Friday, Nov. 27.

It is alleged that Yaquibie was involved in an altercation that turned physical with his brother prior to his arrest in Dix Hills.

According to the Suffolk County Sheriff, it is alleged that on Thursday, Dec. 5, Yaquibie scooped liquid containing human waste from his cell toilet using a milk carton and threw the liquids at a correction officer, striking him in his pants and boots.

Similarly, Robert scooped liquid containing human waste from his cell toilet using a milk carton and threw the liquids at a different correction officer who was passing by the cell conducting a security tour of the tier. The liquid hit the correction officer in his face, arm, and chest.

The Sheriff said that Yaquibie was taken into custody without further incident and was charged with aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate in a correctional facility, a felony.
