A 14-year-old girl who went missing on Long Island has been located.

Kendra Velasquez-Lemus of Hempstead, who went missing Monday, June 17, has been found, Nassau County Police said.

No further info was released.

Police are looking for a 14-year-old Long Island girl who has not been seen since June.

The Nassau County Police Department was notified Tuesday, July 9 at 6:20 p.m. that Kendra Velasquez-Lemus of Hempstead went missing on Monday, June 17 at noon.

She reportedly was last seen leaving her Clinton Street home on foot in an unknown direction, according to detectives.

Velasquez-Lemus is 5-foot-2 with brown eyes and long, brown hair. Her clothing description and possible destination are unknown, police said.

Anyone with information about the teenager is asked to call the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or 911. 

All callers will remain anonymous, according to police.
