Christopher Aiello, 49, of North Babylon, a current inmate at the Yaphank Correctional Facility following his arrest for criminal contempt, was transported to Suffolk County First District Court on Friday, Nov. 15, for an unrelated court appearance, the Suffolk County Sheriff announced.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Aiello was back in court last week, and is currently being held without bail at the Riverhead Correctional Facility for new charges that include second-degree assault, criminal contempt, and aggravated harassment.
