IDs Released For Teen, Motorist After Boy Hit By Car Near Long Island HS

A 14-year-old teen who was seriously injured after being hit by a car at a busy intersection near a Long Island high school has been identified, along with the motorist.

The incident took place in Kings Park around 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 26, on Route 25A near Kings Park High School.

According to detectives, a 37-year-old woman, now identified as Pamela Giuliano, of Kings Park, was driving a 2016 Nissan northbound on Lawrence Road when she struck the teen crossing Route 25A, said the Suffolk County Police.

Kings Park resident Jack Nunez, the 14-year-old, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital via Suffolk County Police helicopter in serious but non-life-threatening condition. 

Giuliano was not injured, police said.
