Next time you crave barbecue try some of the meaty dishes at Swingbellys Beachside BBQ in Long Beach.
The signature here is meats that are cooked "long and slow" on a rotisserie pit fired with hickory, cherry, and apple woods. Sauces, sides, and dishes here are made from scratch.
Smokehouse Specialties come with sides of pickles and onions and cornbread and include Pulled Pork Platter, 12-Hour Brisket, BBQ Chicken.
A hearty entree, The Famous Mac N’ Pete is of burnt ends brisket tossed with the eatery's housemade macaroni and cheese, topped with crispy onion, served with cornbread.
A host of sandwiches include Brisket Grilled Cheese, a panini with crispy onions, the brisket, and American and Swiss cheese and Crispy Pork Belly with pickles, lettuce, tomato, and Maple Mayo.
The menu's "Smoke Pit Tacos" are the smoked meats, pulled chicken, pulled pork, 12-hour brisket, grilled shrimp and "crispy fish" with pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream on a soft white corn tortilla.
Beverages include beer and cocktails and one might try Watermelon Mojito, rum and watermelon Schnapps, mint leaves, simple syrup, lime and a splash of soda over ice.

On Google, Carl Kaffeman posted, "The choice of beers is outstanding. But the highlight is the food. The pulled pork is delicious. The brisket is terrific. But the baby back ribs are out of this world. They don't even need BBQ sauce. The staff is very helpful, attentive and friendly. I'll keep coming back."
