Carnivores, pay attention. Smoked Barn in Levittown has carved its niche, no pun meant, for meat fans, since opening last year.
The restaurant is making its mark in the smoked meat trend.
Here's where you get brisket, pork belly, pulled pork, pork ribs, pork sausage and rotisserie chicken in a "light fusion of traditional smoked meats of the southern states, with a little taste of even further south, Peru," says the eatery. The "Sides" menu is no slouch and has Mac & Cheese, Broccoli Salad, Fried Rice and French Fries in an array of options.
"The portions are great. Loved the chicken rice and the Brussel sprouts," said Joanna Skoch, on the General Douglas MacArthur High School Alumni page on Facebook , in response to Daily Voice asking for feedback.
"If you're a true carnivore and crave the taste of meatiness in all of its forms, this is the place for you," says Jody W. of Gansevoort, New York, on Yelp.
"Love this place. As soon as you walk in the aroma of smoked meats fills the air," Frank T., of Merrick, noted in a Yelp review.
