The series features the Martone family from East Northport and highlights the wacky and fun sisters Lexi, a talented nail artist, and Bria, a hair colorist/makeup artist, at their Salon Martone.

According to TLC, Lexi is a nail artist with a massive social media following and a knack for never-before-seen designs.

Sister Bria is the brains behind hair and makeup side of the business that also includes lots of drama from other family members including their mother Jennifer, who helps manage the business; grandmother ‘Foxy,’ a seasoned hairstylist; and even their dad Big Mike who stops to join the hustle of salon life.

A lot of the show focuses on the sisters juggling family life and romantic relationships as they are teasing, buffing and gluing.

The show, which premiered on Sunday, Nov. 17, is not "fake" in the least, the network says.

“Sharing the stories of incredible, honest and authentic families is at the heart of what we do at TLC, and we’re over the moon to have found the Martone's with all their overflowing talents and love for each other,” says Howard Lee, president and general manager of TLC.

'Unpolished' airs every Sunday at 10 p.m. on TLC.
