Described as an American Brasserie, 2 Spring was opened in 2017 by Claudia and Michael Taglich and Chef Jesse Schenker. 2 Spring is known for bringing the essence of downtown Manhattan to the heart of Oyster Bay in terms of cuisine and overall atmosphere:

“2 Spring brings the quality and hospitality of Manhattan's finest downtown eateries to Oyster Bay,” reads the restaurant’s Facebook page. “2 Spring combines coastal American cuisine with modern sensibilities, highlighting fresh seafood and premium farm meats. The menu is complemented by an inspired raw bar, small bites, and seasonal produce sourced from Long Island's North Fork.”

Take 2 Spring’s commitment to quality and combine it with the creative culinary minds of Chef Schenker and Chef de Cuisine Julian Rios, and the culmination is a one-of-a-kind fall menu featuring fresh and locally-sourced ingredients and dishes.

Lighter fare on 2 Spring’s fall menu includes sustainable Kaluga caviar with crème fraîche and chives, raw tuna with orange, red curry and pickled onion and a cheese plate with honeycomb and walnut bread.

Moving on to small plates and appetizers, you’ll find a generous selection of salads, pasta, seafood, duck and more.

Of course, the stars of the show are the large plates, which include hearty entrees like roasted chicken with fingerling potatoes, sea scallops with butternut squash, roasted fig and prosciutto and New York strip steak.

It’s no surprise that 2 Spring’s attention to detail and high-end cuisine have earned the establishment an impressive 4/5-star rating on Yelp and a near-perfect 4.8/5 stars on Facebook. Guests are quick to compliment everything from the food and service quality to the overall atmosphere.

“My friends and I come here for the tasting menu every season. Every course is planned and executed to perfection. The salads are wonderful, and the pasta dishes are heavenly. Hands down the best linguini in clam sauce ever! The desserts are really good, and so are the drinks. I highly recommend this place!” wrote La S. in an Oct. 19 Yelp review.

2 Spring is open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner. For more information, visit the restaurant’s website.
