Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Raping 14-Year-Old He Met On Snapchat
A Hudson Valley man has been arrested after allegedly meeting a 14-year-old girl online and having sex with her on multiple occasions. Orange County resident Marco J. Rivera, age 22, of Washingtonville, was arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, Sept. 21 for the incidents which took place in July 2020. According to the Sheriff's Office, in June detectives received information from the Village of Walden Police Department about an incident involving a 20-year-old male who had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old female in July 2020. Man, 51, Charged With Rape Of 28-Year-Old Woman In Area
A 51-year-old man has been charged with the rape of a 28-year-old woman in the area, state police said. State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Brian J. Ozzone, 51, of Poughkeepsie on Tuesday, Dec. 31. An investigation conducted by the state police revealed that Ozzone had engaged in sexual conduct with the Wappinger Falls woman, who was unable to consent, police said. Ozzone was charged with second-degree rape. Ozzone’s next scheduled court appearance is in the Town of Wappinger Court on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

Police: Area Man Lured 13-Year-Old On Social Media Before Committing Rape
A 21-year-old man is behind bars after state police say he lured a 13-year-old on social media to send photos before eventually breaking into the victim's home and committing forcible rape. Allegations of sexual assault were reported to state police on Monday, June 25 in Carmel. A subsequent investigation found Anthony E. Barrera Ramirez of Dover began having conversations with the child on a social media application, police said.
