Police Officer In Westchester Arrested For Theft Of Department Property A police officer in Westchester found himself on the wrong side of the law after allegedly stealing department property. Christian Carrasco, a 16-year veteran of the Yonkers Police Department, turned himself in to police custody following an investigation into the sale of police equipment on eBay, a department spokesman said.  Carrasco had been the subject of an Internal Affairs investigation after the department was alerted by federal law enforcement agencies that the items were being auctioned on the Internet.
