Andrew Cuomo, who resigned in 2021 following allegations of sexual harassment, is suing one of his accusers, a Northern Westchester native, for defamation.  Cuomo, age 67, filed the lawsuit in the New York Supreme Court on Thursday, Dec. 19 against former staffer Charlotte Bennett, a Northern Westchester native, who accused the former governor of sexual harassment in 2021.  Bennett had previously filed a federal lawsuit against former Gov. Incident Involving Boiler Prompts Response At Westchester Concrete Plant (Developing) Firefighters responded to an incident reportedly involving a boiler at a concrete facility in Westchester.  The incident happened on Monday, Dec. 23 at the Byram Concrete & Supply facility in North White Plains at 145 Virginia Rd., according to reports. Crews from the North White Plains Fire Department responded to the facility for an incident involving a boiler. There are unconfirmed reports that there was an explosion that resulted in injuries. Trapped Driver Freed From Car After Crash On Sprain Brook Parkway In Westchester Firefighters had to cut the doors off of a car following a crash on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester. The crash happened on Saturday, Dec. 21 on the northbound Sprain Book Parkway in the Greenville area of Greenburgh near Jackson Avenue, the Hartsdale Fire Department announced.  Following the collision, firefighters extricated a driver from one of the vehicles, cutting doors off to do so.  More information about the crash was not immediately available.
