SOUTHEAST, N. Y. -- A 24-year-old Mount Kisco man is facing a drunk driving charge after police stopped his car for swerving on Route 22 in Southeast on Saturday and found his blood alcohol to be more than twice the legal limit, New York State Police said.

Alexander J. Moore is charged with misdemeanor aggravated driving while intoxicated and released with tickets to appear in Southeast Justice Court at 6 p.m. July 19, police said.

Troopers from the state police's Brewster barracks stopped his car after seeing the car fail to maintain its lane, police said. During an investigation, officers noticed he was intoxicated and a breath sample showed a .23 percent blood alcohol content, police said.
