She was born on Dec. 24, 1990 in Carmel, the daughter of Frederick and Brenda (Tebordo) Burdick. She attended Brewster Schools and received her GED.
She was a certified health care aide with Affiliated Home Care out of Mahopac. She had a special place in her heart for people and always helped those in need, according to her obituary. She enjoyed playing basketball and doing crafts, and loved music and animals, especially birds and penguins.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings; Steven Pileggi Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Melissa Pileggi of Wappingers Falls, Amanda Burdick of Brewster and her paternal grandmother; Eileen Burdick.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 21, at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church at 10 a.m. Interment of her ashes will immediately follow at Milltown Rural Cemetery in Brewster. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20 at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave. in Brewster, NY from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
