Storm Knocks Out Power To Thousands In Westchester

The quick-moving storm that dropped more than a half-foot of snow for most of the area has left thousands without power as a result of heavy, wet snow that has brought down trees and tree limbs.

Just before 9 a.m. on Monday, March 4, about 2,700 Con Ed customers were without power in Westchester, with Yonkers having the most outages at approximately 750, followed by Harrison, White Plains and Scarsdale at about 200 each.

About 200 NYSEG customers are without power in Westchester.
