More Metro-North Trains Added To Harlem, New Haven, Hudson Lines

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Metro-North adds more trains to its service schedule on Sunday with an additional 187 trains per week in Westchester and Fairfield counties.

An extra 85 weekday and 22 weekend trains will be added to the Hudson Line, an MTA press release said. The Harlem Line will have an additional 65 weekday and six additional weekend trains. Nine more weekend trains will be added on the New Haven Line.

Fifty-six additional trains were also added in October 2012 as part of the railroad’s biggest service expansion in its 30-year history.
