MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – The Journal News has vacated its Mount Kisco office at 185 Kisco Ave, in a move that will send six employees to its White Plains headquarters, the publication announced Friday night on its website, LoHud.com.
Five reporters and one editor will be making the move to White Plains, however, the publication’s statement vowed it would “committed to community journalism and covering northern Westchester and Putnam counties, including with mobile reporters who work outside the office.”
The publication’s statement also encourages their readers to send them tips, information and comments through their online outlets to help them through the transition.
The Gannet-owned daily publication covers news in Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties.
