Longtime Westchester Doctor Joins WPH's Physician Associates Team

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital has added new pulmonary expertise to its ambulatory physician practices, with the addition of Dr. Louis Vizioli to the hospital's Physician Associates Division.

Vizioli specializes in pulmonary, critical care, primary care and internal medicine, having been in practice for more than 25 years. He has been an attending physician in the department of medicine at the hospital since 1993, and currently serves as a physician for the White Plains police and fire departments.

After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, Vizioli completed his internal medicine residency and internship at Montefiore Medical Center and pulmonary fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Vizioli has been associated with White Plains Hospital for nearly three decades, and is presently involved in the respiratory therapy, intensive care unit and pharmacy formulary review committees. Previously, he served as medical chief of the Pulmonary and Intensive Care Units and medical director of the Respiratory Therapy Department.

Board certified in internal, pulmonary and critical care medicine, Vizioli holds memberships in the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Physicians.
