What's Happening Around Mount Kisco This Weekend

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — A labyrinth walk, a concert by Woody Guthrie's granddaughter and a farmer's market are among the events happening around Mount Kisco this weekend.

Friday, June 15

TGIF at Jodi's Gym: 6 p.m. Drop the kids at the gym for two hours of fun and fitness Jodi's Gym-style. Parents will be free to go out and have their own fun. Jodi's Gym, 25 Hubbels Drive, Mount Kisco.

The Guthrie Concert: 6:30 p.m. Join the Mount Kisco Child Care Center for a concert featuring performances by Sarah Lee Guthrie, granddaughter of the legendary singer-songwriter and folk musician, and her husband, Johnny Irion. The children of MKCCC will open the show with a vocal performance. All proceeds will benefit the Center’s Scholarship Initiative. Chappaqua Crossing, 480 Bedford Road, Chappaqua.  Brother Sun Concert : 7:30 p.m. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northern Westchester is hosting Brother Sun in concert. There will be an Ethiopian dinner starting at 7, and the concert will begin around 7:30. Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 236 S. Bedford Road, Mount Kisco.

Saturday, June 16

Mount Kisco's Official Farmer's Market: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The market is held year-round at the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester in association with John Boy's Farm and Slow Food Metro North. Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester, 351 Main St., Mount Kisco.

Chamber Concert: 2-3:30 p.m. The Westchester String Quartet will play flute quartets by Mozart and Beethoven. Mount Kisco Public Library, 100 E. Main St., Mount Kisco. 

Organ Concert: 7:30 p.m. Gwendolyn Toth will offer an organ recital on the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco's "Water Organ." A reception will follow. Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco, 605 Millwood Road, Mount Kisco.Sunday, June 17 Sunday Afternoon Labyrinth Walk and Potluck Picnic: 12:30-2 p.m.After Sunday worship, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship's labyrinth will be open for walking to celebrate the Summer Solstice. Bring picnic items for lunch. Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 236 S. Bedford Road, Mount Kisco.
