MOUNT KISCO, NY-- Gone are the days when a high school education would be enough to get your foot in the door of the real world. Today's job hunters need to have not only a high school education, but, in most cases, a college degree is also required.
However, you cannot get a college degree without first having your high school diploma. But sometimes life gets in the way of that goal. The Mount Kisco Public Library wants to help you get your GED, your gateway to the future.
If you need help working through math equations, writing essays, or understanding what will be on the test and how to prepare, the library has you covered with help from the Westchester Library System.
Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the public library, tutors will be available to help those interested prepare for their exam. You do not need to make an appointment for tutoring.
