Emergency Work: Ramp Between Parkway, Highway In Westchester Reopens

A busy ramp carrying traffic between a parkway and a highway in Westchester has reopened after being closed for emergency work. 

The ramp between the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway (Exit 20) and I-87 northbound has reopened to traffic.

The ramp from the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway (Exit 20) to northbound Interstate 87 in Greenburgh has reopened after being shut down on Monday afternoon, May 22, the New York State Thruway Authority announced on Wednesday morning, May 24. 

The ramp had been shut down for emergency maintenance work, according to Westchester County Police.

The closure contributed to heavy traffic on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway, police said.
