Jane Carroll, a longtime Westchester resident who has gained success through her florist and baking businesses, will appear on an episode of the iconic show on Friday, April 11, at 8 p.m. ET.

During her appearance, Carroll will pitch her "Jane Foodie" business, which uses "flash freezing" to prepare ready-to-eat dishes sold in sustainable packaging. All customers have to do after buying them is heat and eat them, according to Carroll's website.

"Our foods are precooked and par-baked, so they only need a few minutes in the oven, microwave, instant pot or air fryer to be ready to enjoy," Carroll's website explains, continuing, " By flash-freezing our foods, we cut out the need for lengthy thawing times."

According to Carroll, the flash-freezing process stops ice crystals from forming, which can cause food to deteriorate in the freezer over time. The process also makes sure that food keeps its nutrients much better than if they were frozen the usual way.

The venture is the latest idea to come from Carroll, who began her career as a florist in her basement that eventually took off thanks to help from Oprah Winfrey, who featured her designs twice on "Oprah's Favorite Things List" beginning in 2002. Carroll later appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2005.

This launched Carroll's career into the stratosphere, as she soon began appearing in magazines like People and even styled arrangements for celebrities like Halle Berry and Sir Elton John.

However, Carroll soon met roadblocks along the way, beginning with the 2008 financial crash that soon ended her business. Months after that, she survived a house fire and a sudden heart attack at only 41 years old.

Despite these hardships, she kept going and opened businesses such as Jane's On Main in Pearl River, which became a hub for her floral design, interior design, and event planning services, as well as her burgeoning ventures into food and baked goods.

Years later, in 2015, she started the "Jane Bakes" line of all-natural cookies and opened Jane Cafe at the Lionsgate Studios in Yonkers, which closed in December 2024.

Carroll's Jane Foodie company has already won awards for products like its Guinness Beef Stew. Its flash-frozen offerings include "hearty main dishes", breads, breakfast pastries, soups, stews, pasta sauces, and more.

If you miss Carroll's initial appearance on "Shark Tank," don't fret—it will also be streaming on Hulu after it airs.

The show, now in its 16th season, features several prominent investors—the "Sharks"—who hear out pitches from entrepreneurs hoping to secure funds.

Carroll will likely pitch to investors like Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary during her appearance on the show.
