MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The Mount Vernon City School District’s Board of Education is scheduled to hold an executive session during its meeting Wednesday.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in public session.
It is then anticipated that board members will entertain and accept a motion to enter executive session for about an hour, according to a meeting agenda.
Once the closed session is completed, the regular public session of the meeting will commence.
Agenda items include time for citizen comments, reports from school administrators, and announcement of two teacher retirements.
The meeting will be at The Education Center, 165 N. Columbus Ave., Mount Vernon.
