Margot Foglietta, 77, Formerly Of Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Margot Foglietta of Venice, Fla., and formerly of Mount Vernon, died Friday, July 27. She was 77. 

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne. 

Foglietta was born Oct. 14, 1934, in Chicago to Robert and Mabel Beebe. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers. She was married to Joseph Foglietta, a retired Mount Vernon Police Department sergeant. An avid bowler, she was a member of the Lovelanders and Purple Panthers. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 2009. Foglietta is survived by two sons, Joseph "Joey" Foglietta Jr., of Venice, Fla., and Gary Foglietta, of Perryville, Mo.; a daughter, Lisa (Angelo) Spagnuolo, of Hawthorne; and eight grandchildren.
