Alan Landauer and LTTR Home Care filed a $15 million lawsuit earlier this month, citing the Mount Vernon IDA and employee Roberta James for their alleged conduct related to an application for tax breaks at a proposed development on Bradford Road.

According to the report, Landauer claims the IDA derailed a proposal to build 120 luxury apartments at the site of a former medical supplies building by not voting on the tax breaks, which are necessary to make the building financially stable.

The IDA came under fire earlier this month for hiring a pair of felons to work for the city. The IDA is also facing lawsuits from the school district over tax breaks for certain developments.
