Sophia O'Halloran, Kaitlyn Sementa and Diane Zambardi have been invited to perform after being selected as All-Americans at one of the summer camps hosted by Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA).

O'Halloran is a senior who has cheered all four years on the varsity team as a flyer. She was also selected as an All-American during her sophomore year (2012-13 season) and served as a PALS (peer assistance leadership service) mentor in the high school.

Sementa, a senior in her third year on the team is a base who is also a PALS mentor.

Zambardi, a senior, has cheered all four years on the varsity team. She is a PALS mentor in the high school, a member of the athletics Team Captain Leadership Program and was named captain last season.

All-Americans are selected to try out based on superior cheerleading skills at camps across the country such at demonstrating cheers, dances and jumps. In the camp we attended, Pine Forest Cheerleading Camp, 300 cheerleaders tried out and only 83 were named All American. Only the top 12 percent of the cheerleaders who attend varsity summer camps earn the chance to march in the holiday spectacular. In addition to performing in the London parade, the All-Americans will have the chance to tour London during their seven-day trip. “This is the 26th year we’ve been able to bring talented cheerleaders to London, where they can showcase their skills to a very enthusiastic international audience,” said Mike Fultz, varsity international event coordinator.  For more information, visit www.varsity.com or contact Mike Fultz at 800-238-0286 or email mfultz@varsityspirit.com.
