Yogman, a certified public accountant, will assume the position on Monday, Sept. 12. She brings extensive municipal experience to the position, having served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer of the Queens Borough Public Library and prior to that, as comptroller for the Town of Huntington.
“I am pleased to welcome Ms. Yogman to our city and our staff,” said City Manager Charles B. Strome III. “Her public sector experience is well suited to New Rochelle and will be an asset to our department of finance.”
Yogman received her undergraduate degree from Queens College. She succeeds longtime Finance Commissioner Howard Rattner, who retired in June.
