Members of the Yorktown Police Department responded to BJ’s on Crompond Road at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, when an employee was detained for a reported larceny.
Police said that the investigation into the alleged larceny determined that Yorktown Heights resident Lisa Goldberg, an employee at the store, conducted several fraudulent cash register transactions to steal $460.
Goldberg, 31, was arrested at BJ’s and charged with a misdemeanor count of petit larceny at Yorktown Police Headquarters. She’s been released and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, Dec. 13 for her arraignment.
