A 24-year-old man from Westchester is facing charges after violating a protective order in Greenwich, police say.
Greenwich Police Headquarters received a walk-in report on Monday, Feb. 18 around 5:45 p.m. in regards to the violation of a protective order.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that James Venia of Rye Brook violated a court set Order of Protection by making third-party phone contact.
Venia was charged with violation of protective order and released after posting $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Stamford court on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
