Officers responded to the 100th block of Whitney Avenue in Bridgeport around 3:40 a.m., Tuesday, July 20.
Once on the scene, officers found the victim who had been stabbed multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management.
The scene has been secured and pronounced a homicide, Appleby said.
