New York State Police initiated a traffic stop on I-287 in the city of Rye for a violation on Saturday, Nov. 16 around 4:35 a.m.

The driver, identified as Fernando Reynoso, of Stamford, was found to be intoxicated, police say.

Reynoso was arrested, transported and processed at SP New Rochelle, where police say his BAC was tested at .19.

Reynoso was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor. He was turned over to a sober third party and is scheduled to appear in the City of Rye Court on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
