A man in possession of guns including an assault rifle and high-capacity magazine was arrested in Northern Westchester, according to police.
Officers investigating an alleged domestic incident at a home in Yorktown on Monday, Aug. 26, at about 6:20 p.m., reportedly found Jared Polidoro, 38, of Yorktown Heights, unlawfully in possession of two unlicensed handguns, an assault rifle, and high capacity magazine, according to Yorktown Police.
He was charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor, and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, said police.
Polidor was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and released after posting a $15,000 bond. He is due back in Yorktown court Thursday, Sept. 5.
