Funeral services have been scheduled for a music producer from Northern Westchester who died at age 26 after being struck by a car while walking in Los Angeles.

Relatives and friends of Louis Conway of Somers are welcome to attend a memorial visitation on Sunday, June 24 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac.

Conway spent several days in ICU following the accident before he died on May 20.

He was born on June 26, 1991, the son of Bill and Lucy Conway. He graduated from Somers High School in 2009 and studied music at California State University at Long Beach where he received a Bachelor of Music degree in 2013.

Most recently, he opened his own recording studio and music production company in Hollywood, California.

Louis loved to produce and record all genres of music including hip-hop, rap, pop, punk, classical and jazz; his mission was to showcase artists' pure talent.

Louis always had an open heart and would go out of his way to put someone else's needs before his own. He loved to hang out by the beach, go skateboarding, eat food and be surrounded by his friends.

Louis is survived by his parents Bill and Lucy, his sister Claire, and his brother Charles.

A GoFundMe page established to assist with medical and funeral costs has raised more than $24,000.
