Police are altering motorists and town of Greenburgh residents of a major water main break that is impeding traffic.
The break occurred late Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 28, on Dobbs Ferry Road (Route 100B), between Tarrytown Road and Terrace Street, said Greenburgh Police.
Drivers may experience delays traveling through the area and police are asking motorists to use caution.
No timetable is available for the completion of the work at this time, police said.
Greenburgh water customers in the area may experience a brief loss of service, reduced water pressure, or discoloration until the repair is completed.
