Friends and family of a 24-year-old woman missing in Westchester are hopeful of a safe reunion after she’s been missing for two days.
Valerie Reyes of New Rochelle was reported missing shortly before noon on Wednesday, Jan. 30. She reportedly failed to show up for work on Tuesday, Jan. 30 and took several electronics, clothes and bedding when she was last seen.
On social media, friends and family have sought the public’s assistance as they attempt to track Reyes down.
“My friend has been missing for about 36 hours now and no one can find her and her phone is off,” one friend posted on Reddit. “Her name is Valerie Reyes she's 24 and lives in New Rochelle, New York, in Westchester County. If any New York (best friends) around the area or in NYC see her please DM me on (Twitter) @enano623”
As of Thursday morning, police said Reyes was still missing and there are no definitive leads as to where she may be.
