Among the 348,198 customers Con Edison serves, 28,338 were out of service as of 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, with restoration expected at approximately 11 p.m. on Tuesday night.
More than 1,000 outages were reported in Cortlandt, Yorktown, New Castle, North Castle, Mount Pleasant, Rye, Harrison, Greenburgh, Yonkers, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle and Mamaroneck.
Con Edison has advised that more than 500 out-of-state contractors have arrived to support the Westchester County recovery effort, with more expected before the end of the day. Crews continue to represent that they will have power restored to at least 90% of Westchester County customers by late Tuesday night, leading into early Wednesday morning. Customers can report downed power lines, outages and check service restoration status at www.conEd.com or by calling 1-800-75-CONED (1-800-752-6633).
Additionally, NYSEG is reporting that of their 32,806 customers, 15,647 are still without power in Westchester.
