Con Edison is reporting 228 outages in Westchester, impacting approximately 3,392 of its 348,198 customers. 

NYESG is reporting outages impacting 703 of its 32,806 customers in Northern Westchester, bringing the total number of outages in the county (combined with Con Ed) to 4,095 as of 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Among the hardest hit in Westchester are Yonkers (573 outages), Bedford (453), New Castle (363), Pleasantville (320), Harrison (308), Mount Pleasant (291), Greenburgh (284), Rye (243), White Plains (152) and Pound Ridge (151).

Complete restoration countywide is expected no later than 11 p.m. on Thursday night, according to Con Ed.

More outages are expected on Thursday, as a high wind warning has been put into effect through 6 p.m. on Thursday, with gusts possibly reaching up to 65 mph.

Thursday’s storm impacted travelers throughout the county, with many road closures and impacts to Metro-North lines due to downed trees and power lines.
