Alexander String Quartet Performing In Carmel For 35th Anniversary Tour

CARMEL, N.Y. -- Gilead Presbyterian Church will host a performance by the Alexander String Quartet on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m.

The Quartet has performed in music in 13 countries across the globe, and has been recognized for its interpretations of Beethoven, Mozart, Shostakovich, and Brahms. 

In Fall 2016, the Quartet released Con Moto, a documentary film based on their debut performance at the Beethoven Easter Festival. The Quartet has also collaborated with award-winning classical musicians and composers, such as Branford Marsalis, Aaron Copland, and Robert Greenberg, touring lectures and concerts annually. 

The presentation will take place at Gilead Presbyterian Church, located at 6 Church Street, Carmel.
